Mr. Ringo has been Chairman and CEO of RubberNetwork since May of 2001.
He has provided the leadership and structure which has allowed
RubberNetwork to become the leading Industry Vertical Consortium.
During Mr. Ringo’s tenure at RubberNetwork the company revised its
fundamental business structure, established a global footprint, built a
professional Team, stabilized its finances and delivered consistent
value to its Member Companies. Prior to joining RubberNetwork he was
President of ChemConnect, the leading Internet marketplace serving the
global chemicals and plastics industry. He began his business career
with McKinsey and Company and subsequently was CEO of four different
logistics and technology Companies, two of which were publicly listed
enterprises. He is a seasoned chief executive with a unique combination
of new economy and traditional business experience.
Mr. Ringo holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from
Harvard Business School, and a Bachelors degree in English (cum laude)
from Princeton University. He was an officer in the US Army during the
Vietnam conflict.. He serves as a Director on a number of Boards
including Genesee and Wyoming Industries, Internet Capital Group and
Trimac Leasing.
Mr. Garrison has been at RubberNetwork since 2001 and has held the
Chief Technology Officer position and the Chief Operating Officer
position. He is responsible for defining the company’s service
offerings, establishing technology direction, and leading the
successful delivery of value to the company’s Members. He began his
career at Andersen Consulting and has since held executive positions at
FacilityPro.com and MediaBin.com (formerly Iterated Systems, Inc.)
providing vision and leadership for Business-to-Business electronic
commerce product strategy and implementation. Mr. Garrison has a track
record of leading projects that produce results. He has designed and
implemented a successful B2B marketplace, led the Research and
Development division of a commercial software development company, and
developed the Tire and Rubber Industry’s first ecommerce Supply Chain
Network.
Mr. Garrison earned a Master of Science degree in electrical
engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts
degree from Emory University.
Mr. McCloskey recently joined RubberNetwork in 2008 to oversee our finance and administration functions. He provides a valuable commercial and financial perspective to support the unique value we bring to our Members and also in the expansion of our commercial activities. Prior to RubberNetwork Mr. McCloskey spent 13 years at Harland Clarke in a variety of finance, management and technology roles of increasing responsibility where he was most recently Vice President - Finance supporting product manufacturing of this $1.7 Billion financial services company. He began his career in business development at KnowledgeWare, Inc.
Mr. McCloskey earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University.
Ms. Garrett has over 5 years with RubberNetwork in the role of Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for the accounting and finance functions for our global operations. She has assisted RubberNetwork in developing the necessary financial resources to develop into leader within the Tire and Rubber Industry. She has an extensive financial career including Fortune 500 Companies such as General Foods, and Nabisco, as well as expertise in both manufacturing and service industries.
Ms. Garrett received an MBA (cum laude) from Indiana University and a Bachelors degree (summa cum laude) from Purdue University. She is also a licensed CPA and an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.
Mr. Katz has been with RubberNetwork for 5 years and is responsible for
overseeing the System Development, Implementation and Operational
aspects of the Supply Chain Service. He has over 16 years experience,
including an extensive background in Enterprise Resource Planning,
Custom System Development and Business-to-Business eCommerce. Prior to
RubberNetwork, Mr. Katz was the Director of Implementation Services for
USI’s Ariba Practice (Formerly CoreHarbor) and has held Senior Manager
positions in Arthur Andersen's Advanced Technology and ERP practices.
Mr. Katz earned a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Mr. Wells has been with RubberNetwork since January 2001 and has served
as VP Business Development and currently as VP North America. In his
current role he is responsible for a team of professionals who deliver
sourcing and supply chain services to RubberNetwork's members in North
America. Mr Wells has 23 years of business experience in the tire and
rubber industry with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. His career
began in Chemical Sales moving on to Purchasing in both North America
and Europe for chemical, film and tire manufacturing and finally to
Marketing for Light Truck Tires.
Mr Wells earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Chemistry from Illinois College.
Sergio Juarez joined RubberNetwork Europe in 2002 as a Sr. Sourcing Manager. He held different roles including global account responsibilities for Pirelli and also for Michelin and Continental. Today Mr. Juarez is the VP for Europe and Latin America and is responsible for European sourcing and supply chain operations. He is also responsible for all activities with the members in Latin America and the business relationship with Latin America’s RubberNetwork partner WEBB. Mr. Juarez has over 10 years of experience in consulting and e-sourcing; working as a director of sourcing for Converge Europe, a leading consortium for the electronics and computer industry; he has also hold a director of Fulfillment position at Kennametal Europe (Tier 1 supplier for the automotive OEMs). Sergio started his career at NCR Europe the world leader in Finance and Retail hardware and software products and services, he held several senior positions in the World Wide service organization.
Mr. Juarez holds a Bachelors Degree in International Business Administration from Universidad de las Americas in Mexico and a Masters in Business Administration from the Bradford NIMBAS school of management in the Netherlands and UK.
Mr. Selby joined RubberNetwork in 2001. At RubberNetwork, he is
responsible for leading a multi-country team of sourcing and supply
chain professionals to craft and implement tailored Sourcing and Supply
Chain solutions for RubberNetwork's Members throughout Asia. Mr. Selby
has more than 15 years of experience in the chemical, plastics and tire
industry, where his career has focused on managing business
development, purchasing, logistics and e-commerce primarily in
Asia-Pacific. Prior to joining RubberNetwork, he was the Vice President
- Asia for ChemConnect, the leading chemical and plastics global
e-marketplace. He started his business career at General Electric where
he held a number of senior leadership positions in various GE divisions
including Director - Asia Sourcing for GE Plastics and Commercial
Director, GE Specialty Chemicals Pacific.
Mr. Selby holds a bachelor of arts in history from the University of
Chicago, and a JD degree from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Chris has over 25 years of experience in the supply chain management field involving senior management, operations management and planning, sales, marketing and consulting roles. Industry sectors Chris has worked with include Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Telecom, Technology and Transportation.
Ted Higuchi has more than 18 years of business experience including an
extensive background in the areas of e-business marketing,
international business and business development. He has been with
RubberNetwork since August, 2002 as Managing Director responsible for
all types of activity in Japan.
He was previously the Director, Asia Trade Operations for Converge Asia
Pte Ltd. in Singapore dealing extensively in SCM processes and
platforms. His experience also includes building Supply Chain for
Japanese companies in Hong Kong and China.
Ted Higuchi earned a Bachelor of Economy from Kyoto Sangyo University.
He has also spent 2 years as a student at Monterey Peninsula College
and at San Jose State University.
Michael Kim has a diverse business experience including an extensive background in the areas of vertical portals and e-commerce, both B2B and B2C. Michael Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of California, Berkeley and holds the California CPA certificate (Inactive). After 5 years of public accounting practice, Michael Kim worked for AmBex Venture Group as a controller in Silicon Valley, later relocating to Korea to head an internet venture before joining RubberNetwork in 2006 when RubberNetwork established its office in Seoul.
Mr. Troutman, a partner with FSB Corporate Counsel, serves as
RubberNetwork’s General Counsel. Mr. Troutman has extensive experience
in both domestic and international commercial law matters. His areas of
expertise include general corporate law and commercial transactions,
technology licensing, e-commerce/Internet law, employment law and
domestic and international anti-trust. Mr. Troutman served as
RubberNetwork’s in-house General Counsel for six years before joining
FSB Corporate Counsel. He is a graduate of the Georgia State University
College of Law. He also holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science
degrees, both in Economics, from Auburn University. Mr. Troutman is a
member of the State Bar of Georgia and the South Carolina Bar
(inactive).
